Custom Storage Beds

When considering what type of storage bed is best for you, consider your preferred look. Platform beds, like the Williamsport Slat Bed with platform drawers to the floor, rest entirely on the floor. Objects like socks, balls, and other household items won’t roll or collect under the bed, and the lower bed can give your entire bedroom the feeling of more space. Platform beds are often oriented in unique and space-saving ways. The DH Platform Bed includes three spacious drawers and bookshelves as well.

In contrast, raised storage beds bring the bed height to a more traditional height, but still with the additional storage of a platform bed. In the Williamsport Slat bed with drawer units raised, the bed has a six-inch slot along the bottom. Like chair legs on armchairs, the legs also serve an aesthetic function, making the room feel lighter. Most have drawers along the side, but some, like the Walnut Collection Bed, place the storage at the foot of the bed. Whichever storage bed you choose, you’ll be surprised how helpful built-in storage can be.
